smart: I am trying to find a dog whitch is small (or medium) and loves to swim, but is also easy to train. some one recommended the mini goldendoodle. I think that they are insanley cute, but i dont know the general idea on how big its gonna grow. You also never know what the hair texture is going to be like, or the temperment, since it's a mix. That is crossing two large breed of dogs with a small breed (dangerous if the mum is the poodle) but you will most likely still end up with a large-ish dog out of it. There is no guarentee on what size a cross bred dog will be when it grows up. It could be Golden Retriever sized, it could be a bit smaller. I doubt it would be as small as a mini poodle, but it is also possible.|||The dogs of this cross that I have seen all grew very LARGE in spite of the owners being assured repeatedly that the dogs would only be about 30 lb. when fully grown (but grew to 70+ lb.). All grew a Poodle coat that requires professional grooming at $150 and up every six weeks of the dog's life.
