my mini bonsai just sprouted and im not sure how much water to put in it with out it dyingHow much water should i put in a mini bonsai tree when it sprouts? It should be in a proper bonsai pot, with good drainage. You don't want it sitting in water. Bonsais because they are kept in small pots need to be watered frequently. Since it's young it won't need to be watered as often. Give it a moderated soaking twice a week. Like a said down let it sit in water and don't let it dry out either. How much water should i put in a mini bonsai tree when it sprouts?Bonsai is an art form whereby standard plants are pruned and cultivated into miniaturized ones. The blossoming and fruiting varieties bear standard sized blossoms, fruits and seeds. These seeds grow into STANDARD plants unless they, too, are bonsaied. The care instructions available at this site MAY be helpful.

Whatever kind of plant you have, remember that nobody likes to sit with their feet in buckets of water.
Good Growing!!
