smart: my mini HP notebook does not have a cd drive, so how can I install a cd in it? I bought the sims cd and i want to install it in my notebook. The connection type you are looking for is called "USB". for an extra ~$5 or so i would strongly suggest you get an "External CD/DVD drive" instead, as this will allow you to use ALL discs for your computer, (movies, most modern games, etc), not just CDs (music and older games mostly).
