The following is a recipe for 'mini liquid in the middle chocolate cakes'....I have 8 custard cups (two different sizes) and am wondering how much batter to put in each one for them all to come out equally the same size approximately. (measurements please)
1 cup butter, 8 oz chocolate, 4 eggs, 4 egg yolks, 1/2 cup sugar, 2 T flour. How much batter per ramekin to make 8 equal mini cakes?Use a cookie scoop (like what cafeteria ladies use to serve mashed potatoes) and scoop the same amt of batter into each ramekin. You may be able to do 2 scoops, depending upon the size of the scoop vs. ramekin. Any extra, you can just bake as a cook's reward to nibble as you prepare the rest of the meal. ;-)How much batter per ramekin to make 8 equal mini cakes?what I would do is take the smaller one and fill it 2/3 the way up with water. Then put the water into a measuring cup. See how much it is then fill all the custard cups large and small with the same amount and that should do it.I can't give u measurements
because I don't have any custard cups like the ramekins you have. But that
should give u a pretty close measurement. How much batter per ramekin to make 8 equal mini cakes?Becky, my wife uses one of those ice cream scoops, she uses the thing when doing cup cakes and muffins.
