When I take my mini poodle to get her groomed the groomer always makes the ears fluffy and poofy?
How do I do this myself?
Because her ears always turn wavy.
Thanks. :DHow to get my mini poodle ear hair fluffy?brush and blow-dry :O)|||Your groomer has a high-powered dryer that fluffs and straightens the hair (which makes it fluffier). You can get the same effect if you brush the hair as you are drying it. You'll need to gently but firmly hold the ear in one hand while brushing with the other. You may need a third arm (a friend?) to hold the dryer hose and direct the air flow where you want it. There are also clamping devices, called Groomer's Third Arm, that hold the dryer for you but they may not work with human hair dryers. You can also buy small sized but powerful dryers from pet supply places that will do the job. I recommend Pet Edge, www.petedge.com, but you may like another place better.
Never blast the dog's eyes, or inside the ears, nose or mouth with the dryer. Use a hand to shield these sensitive areas from the air flow. Use warm but not hot air to dry the dog.How to get my mini poodle ear hair fluffy?Brush them! :D With a comb and a slicker brush! :D
That's what the groomers do, they brush the hair before and after washing the dog.
If you get your poodle groomed at least every two weeks then they will be clean and fluffy, and in between grooms, BRUSH you poodle, it will keep them looking cute, fluffy, and it will keep the hair from getting tangled or matted. ^.^|||Brush, blow dryer, and if you want it to stay that way, hairspray (which I don't recommend). What ever you do, it most likely won't stay that way for long. How to get my mini poodle ear hair fluffy?you can dust the inside with a little corn starch, and them brush them out|||If you brush them enough, they should turn nice and fluffy.|||Wicker brush.
