hi guyz.I have a mini motor which i got from my brothers toy .Can anyone tell me how to increase the rpm of it using a battery.
would rate 5 for the correct answerHow to increase the power of a mini motor? With a fixed torque load, the speed of the motor is roughly proportional to the voltage applied to it (until it turns fast enough to sling its guts out). However, if you need increased torque, not increased speed, you need to pass more current through the motor. since torque is roughly proportional to motor current. This also requires more voltage, but the additional current will produce more heat in the motor and possibly burn the insulation off the windings, so be sniffing for burnt smell.
So the answer is supply it with more voltage (more batteries in series).

Regards,
John PopelishHow to increase the power of a mini motor?you can increase the voltage by adding more cells in series, but at some point you will exceed the rating of the motor, and it will overheat and then burn up.How to increase the power of a mini motor?power is 2 vectors, torque and speed.
you could increase the power by adding more batteries.
the speed limit is that if it goes too fast the wires will fly out of the rotor
if too much torque it will get too hot and burn the contacts.
